| <*dv_0*> Zoar Village
<*dv_1*>The community of Zoar was established in 1817 by German immigrants who fled their native country to seek religious freedom. Today, The Ohio Historical Society maintains the 12 block historic district containing outstanding examples of half-timbered and log architecture and German vernacular interpretations of Federal and Greek Revival architecture. Village activities include guided tours, craft demonstrations, and seasonal festivals. The Zoar Tavern and Inn caters to visitors along with several other B&Bs and shops.
