Navarre
<*dv_0*>The Village of Navarre contains many examples of vernacular Federal and Greek Revival canal-era architecture. The Stahl-Hoagland House, located next to the canal and towpath, is a former canal boat captains house. Rochester Square is home to Rochester House, the Mathews House Museum, and the Navarre-Bethlehem Twp. Heritage Education Center. The National Register-listed J.D. Define Building, where President William McKinley tried his first case, is located in Navarre. Visitors will find much to see at the village's antique stores and shops.
